The joy of comping helpful hints

I belong to a comping website and have done now for about 6 years its fantastic and fun . Nothing not even sex ( I can hear you laughing ) can bring you greater joy than a winning phone call or letter or these days an email . But beware comping can become addicting at times . Which isn't that bad really if you enjoying comping but be warned your friends and family might get jealous that's if all of a sudden you have won all this great prizes . Sure you might have to buy some stuff to win like shopping comps ( Always keep that receipt ) there's also phone and SMS comps but these can cost a fortune if your not careful so please read the T&C for those non comper's terms and Conditions these are very important because you might win something but unable to collect the prize because you didn't read the t&c now wouldn't that upset you . Also one of the important things is the cost of the call and if you have to subscribe to the SMS which could cost $5 to $10.00 a go and the only way out is to send stop . Most companies offer some great prizes like Holiday's or cash plasma or lcd TV or games consoles .or cars . You might win some smaller prizes like movie tickets or perfume DVDs etc the most important thing is to enter if you don't enter then you can't win it's that simple . Actually comping can become real serious business for some people who do it full time but it can become expensive . Most people just enter web comps and joining a comping forum is a great way to go because the forums list most comps and the comper's on the forum help each other to win so if you big fan of comping give that a try . The only problem with some comps is the spam you might get so it's better to use a separate email address for comps and also some comps will get you to join up on their web site and you will get newsletters from them but you can always opt out from the newsletters . If I can offer some helpful hints just have fun sure your not going to win all the time but who know"s when your win can come. If you can't afford expensive shopping comps or phone SMS comps then don't do them one's, sticks to the free ones like web comps . Also get a folder and keep your receipts, their are a lot of comping cheats out there and if you keep the receipt that means you bought the item and you are not cheating . Word comps can be hard because your not sure what to write about usually they are 25 words, one way I guess if your clever with words you can make an impression with the judges the more entertaining the better . Instant wins are great because for a spilt second you know you could be a winner or most the time second chance draw . As long as you find comping as a hobby and try not to get depressed if you have a losing slump which does happen .
